St. Baldricks Deer Park Event Postponed
St. Baldricks Deer Park Event Announced. "Shave to Save" is officially postponed
Note: This event is postponed
Texas Roadhouse and the Works Barbershop have combined efforts for a good cause to fight cancer on Sunday, March 22nd for what will hopefully be the first of an annual tradition around a St. Baldricks Deer Park event. At one point or another, most of us have felt the impact of this disease and the 2 Chamber members coming together are a great match.
Texas Roadhouse has long been a gathering place for special events like this. Rob Perez, the Managing Partner, generously opens his doors to many organizations, including our Chamber. It was this type of generosity that led to his earning the nod for the DPCC's 2019 "Above and Beyond Award". He and his awesome staff always do an amazing job. They will open for lunch an hour early at 11 am to accommodate anyone who is interested in attending to support the event. A flyer will be available to bring in for which 10% of your bill between 11 am and 3 pm will be donated to St Baldricks.
The Works Barbershop, owned by Danny Pooran, is among the most popular places within the region to get a fresh cut. Danny has quickly cemented himself into the community. You can find him at festivals, donating his time, and recently he has been elected to the Deer Park Chamber Executive Board as the 3rd Vice President. Danny is known for his trade, so anyone who is donating their noggin is not only getting involved with a great cause, they are in line to also get a great cut.
